Equi-Health Canada has developed an accredited hands on course developed with industry experts and first responders to prepare horse owners for emergencies during transport. We cover: -equipment safety -trailer construction and layout -ensuring appropriate truck/trailer/load weights -licensing and insurance requirements -legal aspects of hauling livestock -ensuring health and wellness of horses during transport -accident protocols and procedures MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW Email: reginadistrictdressage@gmail.com to register Further to direction given from Equestrian Canada today suspending sanctioned events until June 1, 2020, the R.D.D.A. will be cancelling the Freeze or Fry show which was scheduled for May 23-24. As disappointing as this is, we are supportive of measures being taken towards minimizing the spread of COVID-19.
We hope you all can continue to enjoy your horses, perhaps in a different way and without the agendas that shows can influence. There is a lot of uncertainty moving forward, but once things go back to normal the RDDA will look at organizing schooling shows or test days that can allow us to reconnect and reignite the excitement for showing. Until then, take care and be safe! ❤️ RDDA in partnership with Equi-Health Canada Safety Training is pleased to offer a Safe Trailering Clinic on May 3, 2020 at Bridlewood Farms in White City, SK.
